Open Femenino 2026: Christie’s Madrid at La Herrería
· 3 min. read · by Christie's International Real Estate Madrid
The Open Femenino 2026 consolidated itself, once again, as one of the leading women's golf tournaments in the region. With 80 participants, the day combined the sporting standards expected from a competition of this level with the spirit of community and camaraderie that defines golf at its best. The La Herrería course, set within a privileged natural environment in El Escorial, provided the perfect setting for a morning that was about much more than a tournament. Raffles, prizes and an authentic atmosphere rounded off a memorable day for everyone who attended.

From the very first hour of the morning, the atmosphere at La Herrería had the feel of something special. Participants arrived eager to compete, to reconnect with fellow players and to enjoy a natural setting that, in itself, already makes the visit worthwhile.
Throughout the day there were moments of focus on the course, but also of conversation, laughter, and that camaraderie that golf naturally generates among those who play it. The raffles and prizes distributed during the day added an extra layer of excitement to a morning that, for many of those present, was about far more than competition. It was an authentic gathering of women who share the same passion, in a setting that could hardly have been better.
The Christie's Prize: closest to hole 7
As official sponsor of the event, Christie's International Real Estate Madrid had the honour of presenting the first prize of the competition to the player closest to hole 7. The winner was Teresa Sánchez, who claimed the recognition in one of the most closely contested challenges of the day.

Our commitment to the community
At Christie's International Real Estate Madrid we understand that being part of a community goes well beyond the property market. Supporting events like the Open Femenino 2026 is a way of being present in the moments that matter, of sharing values such as excellence, effort and sportsmanship, and of contributing to initiatives that celebrate female talent across all walks of life.
A day made possible by everyone involved
Real Club de Golf La Herrería provided the ideal setting: a privileged natural environment, first-class facilities and a course that rose to the occasion. The organisers of the Open Femenino 2026 did the rest, with the dedication and professionalism of those who build an event that, year after year, continues to grow in participation and in spirit. And the eighty players who joined the morning with enthusiasm and sportsmanship were, ultimately, the ones who gave it all its meaning.
A special mention goes to Santiago de Palacio, whose collaboration made it possible to include a special detail in the Christie's bags distributed on the day. A gesture that added value to the experience of every participant and that reflects exactly the spirit with which we like to be present at events like this one: taking care of every detail.
